Public bug reported: Binary package hint: kile
In running LaTeX on a job composed of multiple nested files, Kile fails to trace correctly the name of the file in which the error / warning issued, and reports the main, including, file name instead. This bug seems to be the same as: http://groups.google.com/group/linux.debian.bugs.dist/browse_thread/thread/00db20884f64da22 and http://www.mail-archive.com/debian-bugs- [EMAIL PROTECTED]/msg10493.html. It has been repaired in Kile 2.02 (see http://bugs.kde.org/172286), so the fix should be easy. In the current state, much of Kile's usability is lost, since many processing jobs consist of multiple files. Structure report. 1. Ubuntu 8.10 2. Kile 2.01 3. Expecting: latex error reports with the name of the (included) file in which the error occurred. 4. Instead: latex error reports with the name of the main (including) file, but with the correct line number [יוסי גיל] ** Affects: kile (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Wrong file names in Kile's errors and warnings summary https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/298594 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
