Gnome-commander still completely deletes the files rather than moving
them to Trash. This makes the application unusable for me, because the
risk of irrecovably deleting some of my work is just to get great.

Having just deleted about 100 hours of work because of problem a) in the
previous poster's comment, I have to agree, the current version of Gnome
commander is VERY dangerous. I would go as far as suggesting that the
current version (1.2.5) be removed from the Ubuntu repositories. I have
tested 1.2
