I hear you, but I think that in the case of software like Gourmet, more
is gained through a release-early release-often style than the
traditional distro-based releases. Unless I'm mistaken, Ubuntu releases
are always going to be frozen for 6 months -- active users interested in

Thank you, bobodod, for reporting back. 0.14.2 is in Jaunty, setting to
Fix Released. Intrepid users are advised to update via my PPA to 0.14.3
if they are affected.
I'd like to add that a gourmet PPA is not the fix-all. Personally, I
believe it will bind more manpower than it is worth. Effect

After installing the gourmet_0.14.3-1_all.deb Rolf linked to in bug
311041, printing (& print preview) works fine in both the main window &
from a recipe card.

Thomas, I'll commit some time to learning more about PPAs. I've not had
any experience compiling software, so this'll be good. If you have any
resources please send them on, but there hasn't been anything so far I
couldn't at least find out *how* to learn.

Adding a PPA would be great. I looked into adding it myself, but it
seems I'd have to go through a process of some kind to be allowed to do
so. If you could maintain an up-to-date PPA for Gourmet, that would be a
boon to the project and the many users who are stuck with 0.14.0 as
packaged.

I'm experiencing this problem as well. Printing recipes from the main
Gourmet Recipe Manager window yields no results at all, while printing
an individual recipe card to PDF either results in a blank file or none
at all.
You both mention that this is fixed in 0.14.2. I have 0.14.0. Should I
add
Indeed, I was still seeing this for 0.14.0. Printing does work in
0.14.2.
