I downloaded Karmic this am. Installed it to dual boot with 8.04. It
was flaky and 8.04 not available. Did a clean, single os install and
received a fsck error message. Ran fsck manually from error
screen. All issues have cleared up, Karmic is running great.
Also a previous
additional info from bootup; when the screen came to *checking root
file system.
fsck, from util-linux-ng 2.16___UNEXPECTED INCONSISTENCY; run fsck manually.
