It should be promoted from -proposed to -updates any day now.

That sorted it, thanks both.
Probably worth putting that in the instructions as well to save more bug
reports?
Should I be safe installing the other 69 updates in proposed to a live
system?
Cheers

Tony,
You need to enable the intrepid-proposed repository to get 53-1ubuntu13.
To do this, go to System -> Administration -> Software Sources. In the
updates tab, make sure that "intrepid-proposed" is checked.

-13 is in the intrepid-proposed repository.
Check that you have -proposed enabled.
$ grep proposed /etc/apt/sources.list

Dustin,
It may be that there actually IS a version problem:
$ dpkg -l | grep ecryptfs-utils
ii ecryptfs-utils53-1ubuntu12
ecryptfs cryptographic filesystem (utilities)
$ dpkg -L ecryptfs-utils | grep /usr/share/ecryptfs-utils
$
So whe
Tony-
Check that you have:
$ dpkg -l | grep ecryptfs-utils
ii ecryptfs-utils 53-1ubuntu13
And then:
$ dpkg -L ecryptfs-utils | grep /usr/share/ecryptfs-utils
/usr/share/ecryptfs-utils
/usr/share/ecryptfs-utils/ecryptfs-mount-private.desktop
/usr/share/ecryptfs-utils/
In which case, either the instructions for password-less login are also
wrong or there are files missing from the package, as /usr/share
/ecryptfs-utils isn't installed by it.
Either that or I'm cocking-up seriously...

Thanks for the report.
Chris is absolutely right...
Typo on my part. I have updated the wiki page accordingly.

Thanks, but there is probably a typo in that help page. Intrepid is only
at 53-1ubuntu12 (although 53-1ubuntu13 is in intrepid-proposed at the
moment).
