Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: linux-image-2.6.27-8-generic

I have an AMD DBSC1100 development board which I am setting up as a
firewall system (low power, cheap.) I installed a text ubuntu intrepid.
I formerly had a hardy install which I tested (USB boot) and it seemed
to work, so I tried to install intrepid, but the install could not find
the cdrom. I installed intrepid on the storage devices using another
system, and plugged them in. Everything works fine except for the PATA,
which does not detect devices.

SCx200 worked fine in Hardy, broken in Intrepid.

** Affects: linux (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
