Not sure why this happens, but something gets messed up in the xorg.conf
by using the automated tools. Here's a few parts of the original

Hi everyone i also face the same problem as stated above. While running
Compiz there would be no titlebars. Have to close the window using a

Please also attach your /var/log/dmesg, /var/log/Xorg.0.log.old and
~./xsession-errors files to this report, after the bug has been
reproduced.
Also follow the instructions at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/X/Backtracing so
we can see what is happening in xorg while
Having been playing around, everything now seems to work, I'm not really
sure why, so I can't replicate the problem. I edited Xorg.conf, then had
to delete what I'd modified and even though Xorg.conf is the same as
previously, now everything works
