Same here too. I only use the stock browser with no plugins other than
Adblock Plus.

Many bad Firefox behaviors are in fact caused by one of the many third-party
'themes', 'extensions' and 'plugins'. These will go away with a new profile -
that is, when Firefox is restored to default settings and without any
extensions and themes.
Could you please try with a new profile and let
Its not happening under Intrepid, so try to upgrade it and then tell us
how its going. If the problem continue remove firefox with his
configuration and re-install it.
