No it's not a wish, it's a repainting problem (see screenshot posted
by Kyran Lange).
PS: Sorry for the delay, I have no connection at home and I had to

Aha, sorry then. Would be good if it was reported on KDE bugs, if
somebody still experiences this. I'm not using Akregator anymore, so I
cannot convincingly file a bug atm. :)

Oh, and the bug is still present in the last akregator included in
4.2.0, and it's not a problem of the nvidia driver because I still have
the problem on a Eee PC 1000H with an intel video card.

I think this is what he means, it happens to me aswell.
The annoying hot keys pop up and then when the article is scrolled it
causes a repainting error, I think a good solution to this would be the
hot keys not popping up automatically, but only when you hit ctrl.

That isn't a bug it's a feature. That's supposed to happen. They are
annoying if you don't need them but they are very handy for
accessibility. They tend to be used by people who have motor problems
and have difficulty with precise mouse movements. As pointed out above,
just hit CTRL again and
