Public bug reported:

When upgrading from Hardy to Intrepid, hpt302n PCI card (2 channels IDE card)
stop working.
None of the attached drives are seen in /dev
output of lspci :

dmesg under 2.6.24 :

Nov 22 11:10:41 server kernel: [ 74.002706] HPT302N: 100% native mode on irq

On 2.6.24, card us ..../drivers/ide/pci/hpt366.ko
On 2.6.27, system tries to load ..../drivers/ata/pata_hpt37x.ko

The .../drivers/ide/pci/hpt366.ko is not present on 2.6.27
There seems to be a experiment .../drivers/ata/pata_hpt3x2n.ko drivers on
2.6.27 but this one os also not part of the package.

Don't know which way to go to get this card working again.

** Affects: linux (Ubuntu)
