A new SpliX package has hit the official updates for Intrepid now. This
should also fix this bug. Please test splix 2.0.0~rc2-0ubuntu2.3 and

This is already fixed in the updates for Intrepid (and also in Jaunty).
Please run the automatic updates and you will get a fixed version of
SpliX.
