Has there been any progress on this, also I know usbserial is (has?) been added back into the kernel after it was removed for 9.04, will this help? Perhaps using the source for the 3G drivers from Acer would help - I'm assuming it's GPL -- AAO 3G not detected

Using Jaunty, RC1. Detected when running lsusb as: Bus 001 Device 004: ID 05c6:9211 Qualcomm, Inc. However, network manager does not recognize it. Note - also did not work on 8.10, or 9.04 A4 - RC1 If I can provide additional info, please let me know. -- AAO 3G not detected
