This was due to a corrupted archive. If it's still an issue then you can clear
the cache and retry with the following commands:
sudo apt-get clean
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install --reinstall linux-image-2.6.27-10-generic
Please reopen if it's still an issue.
