same behaviour with the 12.04 alpha here. this is really really annoying and it happened in all releases so far from time to time. that is a basic issue to play a webstream! -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu.

Seeing the same problem in Lucid, checked to see that I have packages: python-gst0.10 python-glade2 libgnomevfs2-extra installed. Anyone facing the same thing? http://www.wbur.org/listen/feed/ogg.m3u: Not Found -- rhythmbox fails to play m3u file (internet radio)

It is some kind of user setting. The only way to get it working was to remove ~/.gconf I suspect some totem setting as I could not find different that seemed related in apps/rhythmbox -- rhythmbox fails to play m3u file (internet radio) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/305294 You received this

The problem also exists in Jaunty Beta. Packages mentioned above are installed, xine plays the stream fine. However deleting and recreating does not have an effect. It all worked prior to the update, so seems to be a Jaunty regression. -- rhythmbox fails to play m3u file (internet radio)

Not an issue on a fresh install. I'll try and find out what the difference is. -- rhythmbox fails to play m3u file (internet radio) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/305294 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs

Same error appears to exist in Jaunty Alpha 5. I did an update-manager -d today and tried to play the same uri I was playing prior to the upgrade. No luck, I got the error reported herein. However, after deleting and recreating the same URL, it worked fine. This could be a rhythmbox upgrade
