Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnubiff
since about 2 weeks, the gnubiff icon appears at random positions, instead of using the settings defined in the config file. All the other settings are correctly taken into account, although I didn't notice any version change. My display manager is fvwm, but it doesn't seem to be involved, as everything else works normally. ->lsb_release -rd Description: Ubuntu 8.10 Release: 8.10 ->apt-cache policy gnubiff gnubiff: Installed: 2.2.10-1ubuntu1 Candidate: 2.2.10-1ubuntu1 Version table: *** 2.2.10-1ubuntu1 0 500 http://ftp.crihan.fr intrepid/universe Packages 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status ProblemType: Bug Architecture: i386 DistroRelease: Ubuntu 8.10 Package: gnubiff 2.2.10-1ubuntu1 ProcEnviron: LC_CTYPE=fr_FR PATH=/home/username/lnx/bin:/home/username/bin:/local/bin:/setloc/bin:/opt/apc/bin:/usr/lib/openoffice/program:/sbin:/usr/sbin:/bin:/usr/bin:/usr/games:/usr/local/bin LANG=fr_FR.utf8 SHELL=/bin/ksh SourcePackage: gnubiff Uname: Linux 2.6.27-9-generic i686 ** Affects: gnubiff (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: apport-bug -- gnubiff icon no more uses the geometry settings https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/305515 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
