I'm not sure if I can confirm this by running liveCD... it can be related to slim/fluxbox/rox note: hitting CTRL+ALT+SysRq+R many times has usually positive effect on next letters (but still not sure.. just increases probability of successful login) Is LiveCD available? I did not knew that... --

I'm using fluxbox and login screen slim. Consoles are OK when only slim is running and issue appears 2-3seconds after logging in. When I kill/stop X11 by CTRL+ALT+backspace issues disappears. After stopping X11 and re-starting it from tty1 issue won't appear again. -- consoles (ttyX) are broken
