Public bug reported: Binary package hint: snow
Apparently (see http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=505309) the snow source package in Debian (which used to produce the r-cran-snow binary package) has incorrectly been superseed by another source package with the same name (producing the snow binary package). For Ubuntu this means that we have now an r-cran-snow binary package which is not built anymore from source (http://people.ubuntu.com/%7Eubuntu-archive/NBS/r-cran-snow) and a new snow binary package. We should probably wait and follow the solution adopted by Debian (I guess a re-upload of the former snow package with a superseeding version number and a re-upload of the latter snow package with a different source name). ** Affects: snow (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Affects: snow (Debian) Importance: Unknown Status: Unknown ** Bug watch added: Debian Bug tracker #505309 http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=505309 ** Also affects: snow (Debian) via http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=505309 Importance: Unknown Status: Unknown -- The snow source package has been incorrectly superseeded https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/307552 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
