I tried but it didn't work. But as you say below, this file might be
corrupted as it did work within Windows either.
I should have tested it before reporting a bug. Thank you very much for

If you manually try to open the document from inside of OpenOffice.org
Presentation (Impress) does it actually open the file correctly? It may
be that the file is corrupted.

properly to this bug report in launchpad, I will try opening it to see
