what is current version of Firefox and Flashplugin-nonfree and you seeing this

Are you using swfdec-mozilla or Totem to play YouTube? Right click on
the video as its playing and choose 'About' at the bottom and let us
know what package and version you are using, eg Totem 2.24.3 or
something.
Totem seems to be having all-sorts of trouble with YouTube at the moment
