This bug report was filed against an old version of Ubuntu.
Can you confirm whether this is still an issue in natty?
If you don't mind, it would be very helpful if you could update the bug
report in launchpad to 'Fix Released' if it is no longer an issue for
you, or if it is still occurring under
Still here on 10.10. I have Logitech RX 650 with tilt wheel. Unplugging

I tried Karmic Alpha 6 today, and found that xev reported events for all

I think I'm experiencing the same problem. With a Logitech G5 USB
mouse, xev reports events for only some of the buttons. (I'm thinking
this would explain why I am unable to map the other buttons using the
usual approaches.) I'm using Jaunty 32 bit.

JugglerLKR, I apologize for my fault!
I made 2 mistakes:
1) The best package for your report is not linux, but xserver-xorg-input-mouse.
2) The correct link for requested information is here:
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingMouseDetection
I can confirm that my previous message was not a joke
Is it some kind of joke?
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingRemovableDevices
1) it requires to unplug device - in this case my keyboard and mouse.
2) it requires to issue command in terminal without keyboard, how do I supposed
to do that?
