Thanks for replying, I am still having problem, I am currently using KDE 4.2
RC1, when I click an email in my local folder, sometimes, I get the option
Open in Address Book, some other time, Add to Addressbook, I don't know
what causes the right click menu changes.

contact, it will crash.

Oka,
Sorry for the slow follow up. I've just had another look at this and I
still can't reproduce it. As you suggested I created a local folder and
copied a mail there. I then right click on the senders name and choose
add to addressbook.
At this point I get a pop-up dialog box with the text:
just to add more information. If the email is from my inbox, when I
right click, there is an option Open in Address Book, and I can safely
open it and then edit the rest of the information. The application
hangs only when I did that from my local folder. I create a local folder

Thanks for reporting this. I just tried to reproduce this in KDE
4.2beta2 (4.1.85 is beta2 btw) and the address is added fine for me.
What type of e-mail do you use, pop, imap, disconnected imap etc? I'm
not sure if it matters, just trying to think of possible causes.

After I check It turns out I use KDE 4.2 beta 2 as well. I still have
the problem. I am using pop to connect to my Gmail. Kontact can be
minimized to task bar and restored, but I cannot click anything inside.
The status bar below seems to show it is checking email. But all things
cannot be click.
