I confirm this bug. I have had this problem for the last 3 days, since I
upgraded to Jaunty (pre-release).
However, the workaround mentioned above by deleting the
~/.config/monitors.xml file does not work

I was getting segfault as well, can confirm that deleting monitors.xml
fixes the problem.

RAOF told me on IRC to delete ~/.config/monitors.xml, and this fixed the
problem. Note that the file did not re-generate after restarting X.

yet. So I don't know how to get the proper traces... Anyway, I'm sending
