Matija Grabnar, this bug was reported a while ago and there hasn't been
any activity in it recently. We were wondering if this is still an
issue? If so, could you please test for this with the latest development
release of Ubuntu? ISO images are available from

I tried adding the backport modules, but I see no effect. (Though I see
a newer version, which also mentions some changes for iwl3945, is still
in proposed). Should I try to install that one from source?

Matija, this seems to be similar, if not the same as bug 271463. Please
have a read on the discussion there (maybe my comment about the WPA/WEP
will help?).
