Public bug reported: Binary package hint: openoffice.org
When entering data into a spreadsheet, each line representing a data record one normally enters the value and hits tab to move to the next field. That does not work if a similar value has previously been entered in the cell's column. The auto suggest mode kicks in and gives an option. GREAT!!!!! I like it. however, only clicking enter and moving down a row will pick the suggested value, clicking tab to move right is locked and only gives error beeps. This is particularly frustrating when entering data records where the tab key makes for orderly entry of datum and the entry key worked so nicely to return one to the first field of the next record. Please make the tab key work for data entry when a value is suggested. Thank you.
