I saw that in my report pulse audio was not running, which was wierd because i
can hear the sound, so i used this command [which i think launches it].

This is a newer version [after i did some changes].
Yes, this is not on my intrepid machine [That got corrupted so i
installed mint instead] BUT the switch when i plug in my headphones
