I just tried it by
System --->administration--->network
When I enter my password and click on ``Authenticate'' it tells me that an
unexpected error has occurred.
No kidding!

I just ran it from the terminal. Here's what I got back, only this time it
worked!!!

If you run network-admin in the terminal, do any error messages appear
there? Could you paste them in to the bug report?
