A note, if it's easy to fix: The width of the phrase "Spain (Asturian variant
with bottom-dot H and bottom-dot L)" is very large, exceeding the width of GDM
screen.
Could be shortened to "Spain (Asturian)" (English) or "España (Asturianu)"
(Asturian)?

My problem is similar in 8.10
I use Asturian language, and I created a new sesion for a friend who
only speaks Spanish. In the login window, I set "Choose language" and
set "Spanish" for his sesion (he prefers Spanish language).
After this, I couldn't use my session in Asturian language because i
I have the same problem on Ubuntu 8.10.
I only have install the english and asturian languages, and this no appears in
gdm.
