I tryaged the current Jaunty Alpha3 dayly live cd. Now the RTL8198 USB wify controller is natively supported, but the hardware switch is not working my notebook. If the wify is switched on or off, the wireless networking is enabled independent the switch state (on or off). Possible solving this
