Seemed stupid to open a new bug report; for Sony-Ericsson W302, I added
the following to abovementioned 10-usb-music-players.fdi to make it
work:
storage
audio/x-wav
audio/aac
audio/x-wav
Music/
Please a

info.capabilities = {'storage', 'block', 'portable_audio_player',
'access_control'} (string list)
This looks fine to me. If it doesn't actually work for you, please open

yes, it can be done. Please look at
/usr/share/hal/fdi/information/10freedesktop/10-usb-music-players.fdi
and the existing entries, find one that best describes your device (I
guess the patch which is attached here is a good starting point), or
create a new one if none of the existing profi
Can this be done for W800 too? Ubuntu recognizes it as a broadband
device, but not a music player.
Let me know what can I do to provide the necessary info for the phone
