I am no longer running hardy on my server so I cannot test if this bug
has been resolved. My work-around was to upgrade hardy to intrepid.

Could this patch be added to the current hardy kernel, so people with
Jaunty based clients are able to use Hardy bas

This problem is going to bite anyone using a NFSv4 server once he
upgrades to Jaunty. Shouldn't this be in the Jaunty release notes?
