Well I can do it in one way:
In the Open disc window
Mark "Show more options"
in Customise write the path to the iso file like this (The quotes shall be
included):
"dvdsimple:///home/henrik/Videos/DD.iso"
But I can't explain that to my wife and kids. I need the above
workaround as a com
I have the same problem,
It is about 10% of my DVDs that fail, same ones all the time. Using
windows they work but not with VLC (unless opened with "no DVD menus".
Now I have a copy of most of my DVDs on my hard drive as ISO. VLC can
play the ISO files as if it was a DVD. Very nice for my since m
I've had a similar problem. I can play movies on my desktop just fine.
I just installed the same os and software on my brothers acer laptop and
he said he couldn't play movies in either totem or vlc player. I'm glad
to know it's a software bug and not something I was doing wrong.
