After logging out, trying to switch user, and changing from vtty back to X
system completely hangs with a black screen with ATI Mobility Radeon non-fre
Even worse on karmic. First log out causes crash.

PS /var/log/Xorg.0.logold attached on next comment, as my guess is that
is log file where problem occurred. My guess is that last message on
that logfile - (II) AIGLX: Suspending AIGLX clients for VT switch) - is
where problem occurred. Am I correct?

file from after reproducing this issue. If you've made any customizations to
