Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: compiz

Compiz works great. I didn't have to do any hacking or configuration to
get it to work.

However, when the system is under high load (99% cpu) and I switch
workspaces (ctrl+alt+bkspc), compiz almost always crashes. Iit starts
the fallback wm (metacity). Alt+F2+compiz--replace puts me back in
buisness, but it's a very disrupting problem...

Using ATI Radeon 9100, on an older P4 laptop, Ubuntu 8.10

01:05.0 VGA compatible controller: ATI Technologies Inc RS300M AGP
[Radeon Mobility 9100IGP]

** Affects: compiz (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
