Thanks. Just so I understand this correctly - are you prompted for a
password as soon as you attempt to launch Users and Groups? If so, then
that is wrong, and sounds like you have a stale laucher in your profile
that is launching it with gksu. Was this machine upgraded from Gutsy at
all?
