We did hear about this recently, yes. Please don't assign ubuntu-
installer to bugs, though; it causes every member of the team to get
mailed personally (bypassing several mail filters), which is a bit
heavyweight. Subscribing the team is fine.

Sorry about it. I had no idea about the size of the ubuntu-installer
team. I thought about subscribing umenu's maintainer ago only, but too
many search results popped up.
