I'm having similar problems since a recent update to OOo3.0.1, on an
Ubuntu 8.10 laptop. It seems to be related with scrolling down many
pages at once, but it may be casual. About half the time those freezes
force me to hard-reboot the system (keyboard and mouse are
unresponsive).

I can't reproduce this issue with the film.html file attached. Does this
happen for you only with html, or with all html files?
