Public bug reported: Hi,
suspend is doing fine in jaunty, but after pressing the power button on my machine, the system wakes up, usb gets initialized again, right after that the machine falls to sleep again. After pressing a second time the button, the machine comes up much quicker and I can login into the gnome session. So suspend/resume at the one hand is working, but at the other hand is behaving strange. Looking into dmesg, I found information, which might help fixing this bug. Under hardy and intrepid, resume was okay, even the kernel printed some test-code. I thank you in advance. I love Ubuntu and I try to send as much response here as possible to help finding and fixing bugs.
