I can confirm that this bug exists in version 1.0 of gswitchit-plugins. I've
built it on Hardy from your source package in PPA.
Everything compiles and installs fine, but it won't change layouts/switch flags
when clicking on the applet's flag. Thus I have to rightclickin' the applet,
The flags are chosen based on the ISO country code. There is no way to
distinguish Ita from Ita2 for a moment. But you're welcome to contribute
a patch to take the variant name into account;)
