Public bug reported: Binary package hint: debian-installer
While installing a daily jaunty image on an HP DL385G2 last week I was installing onto disks that already had an LVM on. My plan was to remove the pre-existing LVM and make new, smaller one. I was unable to simply remove the LVM immediately, so went into the LVM configuration and removed all of the LVs within the VG, and then the VG itself. Even after doing this, the partition editor refused to let me remove the logical partition that previously contained the LVM, saying it was still in use by the VG I'd just removed. ** Affects: debian-installer (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- [jaunty] Unable to remove pre-existing LVM https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/319150 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
