Public bug reported: This bug is for tracking the upstream report.
On my Asus n20a the audio device works almost perfectly out of the box with snd-hda-intel (using the ALC663 codec). However, line in and microphone have very low capture gain. Audio does get recorded, but at a very low volume. The output of alsa-info.sh is here: http://www.alsa-project.org/db/?f=188aa65fc63e27e709e2d7f20020d65a89cac0a3 I've reported the upstream bug against alsa 1.0.19. The state of the matter has not changed between jaunty's 1.0.18 and 1.0.19 though. ** Affects: alsa-driver Importance: Unknown Status: Unknown ** Affects: alsa-driver (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Bug watch added: ALSA Bug Tracker #4349 https://bugtrack.alsa-project.org/alsa-bug/view.php?id=4349 ** Also affects: alsa-driver via https://bugtrack.alsa-project.org/alsa-bug/view.php?id=4349 Importance: Unknown Status: Unknown -- Internal mic./line in has very low capture volume (hda-intel, acl663) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/319233 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
