Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: mythtv

Using mythtv from Mythbuntu 8.10. All packages updated as of today.
Also applied the mythbuntu weekly builds.

>From a cold boot the system comes up, works its way into mythfrontend,
and after several seconds both tuner lights on the HDHomeRun come on and
stay on. The tuner status shows no channels are recording. Tcpdump
shows about 1000 packets being discarded every several seconds.

Running HDHomeRun Manager on another PC on the network shows both tuners
are actively watching channels.

The exact same hardware setup (a.k.a swap the harddrive) running an
older version of mythtv (based on mythbuntu 7.10 and not updated for
about a year) parks the tuners nicely, with the lights off and no
packets spewing forth.

** Affects: mythtv (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
