Unfortunately, reverting to the old UI has screwed up the digital mic
sensitivity control again as per bug #275998. Now only PulseAudioManager
can adjust the mic volume.
Also gnome-sound-preferences hasn't been restored, so it's now
impossible to choose the sound theme, etc. Should I raise a new b
Hopefully when we change back to Intrepid's UI, the underlying hardware
drivers will still work the same as they do now in Jaunty - Intrepid
couldn't adjust the ICH8 digital microphone's volume sensitivity, making
it useless for any apps needing recording like Ekiga and Skype.
