I installed ubuntu 10.04 (final) and my Sony MRW62E Multi-Card
Reader/Writer doesn't work!

When the above apport-collect was run, I did not have the Sony Card
Reader device plugged in. When it is plugged in (to the headers on the
motherboard), my USB system wide freezes for about 2-3 minutes after
boot. Then the USB mouse and keyboard start to work, but if I plug in
any other USB
Some other notes:
The device operates just fine in winXP and win7. The standard usb port on the
front of the card reader works just fine. Other ports do not. When the
machine is booting with the card reader plugged in, as soon as grub starts
loading, the lights on the mouse and keyboard go

This bug was reported a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in
it recently. We were wondering if this is still an issue? Can you try
