I also still see this on my Dell Mini 9 with Ubuntu 10.10. Unlocks after
waiting for approx. 2 minutes, gnome-screensaver eats ~99% CPU, unlocks
also if I drop to a virtual terminal (Ctrl-Alt-F1) and kill the
screensaver.
#181065 looks similar, also maybe #181065, #314545 and #524860.

It doesn't seem fixed on my Dell Mini9, with an up to date Lucid Lynx
Still using 100% cpu and not unlocking the netbook when I enter the
password. On the second attempt, it works though.
If I manually lock the screen and unlock, no problem. So it's related to
the screensaver.
