Hi Pedro,
Yes, python-gtksourceview is installed, and gtksourceview works in
Anjuta. Gedit was installed with the OS, (version 8.10).

I did a bit more checking, and I have another laptop in which everything
works just fine. The difference is that the one that works was
installed from a bare drive and the other one was upgraded from 8.04
which was upgraded from the release before that, etc.
