Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: pidgin

I was just trying to send a file via Jabber, but it did not work. Being
sure that it worked before, I checked all network settings. I then
noticed that Pidgin apparently does not check for a new IP address (via
STUN) on reconnect, because the old IP address was shown in the
preferences. I was reconnected (and assigned a new IP address) by my
Internet provider while Pidgin was running. After restarting Pidgin
everything worked as it should.

Pidgin probably should check for a new IP address whenever an account
gets reconnected.

** Affects: pidgin (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
