Problem was caused by 32 bit Flash plugin.
Plugin changes/updates were apparently not considered by the update,
which caused this problem.
PLEASE,
updating operating systems, can cause all kinds of problems. It would be useful
to have a simple method to give an immediate feedback on issues.
