In previous versions of KDE, widgets that weren't actually downloadable
were always listed in the get new widgets window. The list now reflects
what is actually downloadable.
We do have quite a few Plasma widgets available in the repositories,
however. :-) If you have a hankering for plasmoids
I don't think this is what I'm talking about as I did download about 20
of them on my first install of Kubuntu through the method that I listed,
just went to download new widgets selected the google source, scanned
through about 30 pages of widgets and one click downloaded them. I was

Oh yeah and that was on KDE 4.2 I believe, if not it was 4.1 but I'm
almost positive I had upgraded to 4.2

Sorry last post, I have found quite a few forums with the same concern,
some people are saying that it's a licensing issue but here are a couple
links that I think is what I'm talking about, one person says they have
