Binary package hint: debian-installer
I have downloaded the ubuntu-8.10-dvd-amd64.iso installer image, whose
md5sum is 7b9a7a049cfd275f1c32720ed5f23fdd, and burned it to a DVD. When
I boot from it, type Esc to exit the graphical menu, type "help" and
press Enter, and type F4 to find out about rescue mode, it tells me:
Use one of these boot methods to rescue an existing install:
rescue
Boot into rescue mode.
But when I type "rescue" and press Enter, I get the error message
Could not find kernel image: rescue
When I type "install rescue/enable=true", it does boot into rescue mode.
I think the help text on the F4 screen should indicate this way of
booting into rescue mode instead.
