I have got a Toshiba Satelite Pro L300 notebook with following soundcard:
00:1b.0 Audio device: Intel Corporation 82801H (ICH8 Family) HD Audio
Controller (rev 03)
Impossible making any record with Mic or internal microphone, arecord only
silent rec
Have you tried turning up the mic/line boost options? Have you also made
sure that the microphone or line in device you are attempting to record
from are enabled for capture? You can do this by running alsamixer,
pressing F4 to switch to capture settings, finding teh line/mic device
you want to ena
Please download and run http://www.alsa-project.org/alsa-info.sh and
post back with the URL given to you by the script.

Next comment I sending the correct output settings with amixer.
Possible applying this settings by default?
What we choosing default input source?
Now I using mic and recording external microphone.
Or use default with Front Mic input source?
What the default with another laptop
